This Ted Talk is explaining how to takes risks in your life intelligently. Basically you need to have control over what risks you are taking, and know when to stop. The man giving the talk is a gambler and he's explaining how to take certain risks when gambling.

This talks about that how schools and others areas of children's lives kills their creativity by not allowing them the right to make mistakes. You can't be afraid to make mistakes because mistakes are the key to creativity. "We are getting educated out of creativity".

The man speaking says that motivations don't work all the time. It doesn't allow you to think intelligently compared to someone who is given no reward or motivation, who ends up thinking smarter. There are many experiments to prove this.
